It doesn't matter what kind of style you prefer, there are thousands of designers out there who can make you feel like the most beautiful person in the world... for a hefty price!
But, most of us out there just can't afford those high prices.
And, if you're a plus size, it seems like the prices are just downright unrealistic.
So, what do you do?
You still want to look like a million bucks; you just don't want to spend it.
Here are some ideas to help you build a winning plus size wardrobe on a low-key budget:
1. Watch the papers.
While it might be boring, or depressing, looking through the ads each week to see what is on sale, and where, it does help.
Finding a great sale at a department store on great clothes is always something to take in.
Usually, where there is one sale, there are other stores trying to compete for business as well, so shop around the stores nearby, and you can find some great deals on all the wonderful clothes that you long for.
Visit websites such as http://www.clothingbig.com
2. Don't shop in season.
This is a big one.
Shop after the season is over for the next year.
While this might sound like a waste of time and money, you will be amazed at the clothes that you can find dirt cheap because the store doesn't want to take a loss on them.
Most of the clothes can be worn during the season that you are in now anyway; you just won't get to wear them as often. You will also be surprised at the fashions that will carry over to the next year also.
The only key to this is not to by anything that is part of a fad, like lime-green snake skin shirts or neon pink wooden sandals.
Stick to things that are a neutral color, like black, white, brown, gray, and some primary colors to mix in, and things that are classy, and you will never go wrong with your spree.
3. Look through the consignment shops in town.
While there are those that you should never go in, there are also those that carry only designer clothes.
These can be great resources to enhance your wardrobe now if you are in serious need of new clothes, or you just want something new to wear.
Consignment shops are great because you don't pay new prices for the clothes but you still can find designer names and brands to sport around.
Just make sure that you look the garment over carefully to ensure that you don't end up with something seriously faded, ripped, torn, or stained.
You don't want to purchase a new power suit only to find that there is a wine stain on the jacket and you can't return it, or get the stain out.
These are just a few tips to get you started building that great plus size wardrobe on a small budget.
Within no time, you will be finding your own ways of modifying these tips to fit your style and preferences, and you will look great doing it!
Happy shopping!

Making the Most of Your Kids Clothes
?Nothing is more fun then dressing children; finding just the perfect unique outfit to compliment their adorable faces. But as fast as you buy kid's clothes, it seems the faster they grow out of them. Many popular designers are starting to take this into consideration when they design their kid's clothes. Some are putting elastic inside the waistline with buttons that can be loosened as your child grows and expands. They are also adding buttons on the legs to allow pants to be rolled up and down depending on your child's height and the pants look really cute.
No matter what style you look for there are some ways to make sure your children's clothes grow with them and last.- Elastic waistbands ? Even though your child may be growing, they may still not be ready to move into the next size height wise. Buying pants with elastic waists ensure there will be room to grow without having to go up a size.- Go long ? For little girls, some pants can actually look adorable as they grow taller...

Is Your Laundry Room Costing You Money?
The price of energy is going up all the time, and you're probably looking for ways to save on your house bills.
As it turns out, your least favorite room may be one of your biggest energy hogs.
I'm talking about the laundry room.
Now, you can save all sorts of money if you're willing to stop washing your clothes, but I'm guessing you're not looking to go that route (and all the folks you work with appreciate that).
Let's take a look at some more practical ways you can save money in the laundry room.
1. Avoid washers and dryers with lots of fancy features.
If you're shopping for a new washer and dryer, stick to the basics.
More expensive machines may have extra cycles, electronic control panels, and other fancy features, but they don't wash clothes any better than basic units.
Those perks usually just add to the operating cost of the machine.

Organizing Tips to Help You Conquer the Laundry Monster
Laundry. You sort, you wash, you fold, you blink ? and the pile of dirty clothes has grown all over again. Laundry is a fact of life, but approaching the task in an organized way can make it more manageable. Preparation is Half the Battle If you have a large family (or lots of clothes!), sorting the laundry can be a daunting task all on its own. Sorting as you go not only ends the need for this part of the project, but also may encourage you to do laundry more often because it's all sorted and ready to go! Use a multi-compartmented hamper or several laundry baskets and as you throw in your dirty clothes just drop them in the appropriate section (even kids as young as pre-schoolers can learn to do this -- make it fun for them, give them a small reward (an extra 15 minutes of TV? staying up 10 minutes later?) each time they get everything in the right spot!) Toss items that need dry cleaning into a special basket or bag as soon as you take it off.
This way, when you are ready to...
